DAYTON, Ohio — Dayton Freight has received the 2012 Platinum Award from Lowe’s. The highest award given to Core Carriers, this honor acknowledges the achievement of rigorous on-time, exception free goals as established by Lowe’s.

In addition, Dayton Freight received Moen’s “Carrier of the Year” Award and was recognized as a nine-time winner of Moen’s Partners in Quality Award. Financial stability, service performance, operations support, customer service response times and low claim ratios are just a few of the benchmarks that Moen uses to evaluate their freight partners.

For the sixth year in a row, the National Shippers Strategic Transportation Council, or NASSTRAC, has honored Dayton Freight with their 2013 “Carrier of the Year” Award for the LTL Midwest category. This prestigious award, sponsored by NASSTRAC and Logistics Management magazine, recognizes carriers that demonstrate excellent performance in categories such as customer service, operational excellence, pricing, business relationship, leadership and technology. NASSTRAC has been providing education, advocacy, connections and solutions for shippers and carriers since 1952.
