Damco Names Frost Europe CEO

Damco, the consolidated logistics brand of the A. P. Moller-Maersk group, named Flemming Frost as its new CEO for Europe.

Frost, who has been with the group for 27 years, replaces Kim Hedegaard Sorensen as of Jan. 1. His major task will be to increase Damco’s market presence.

Frost, 49, comes from a position in Damco North Asia overseeing the branch operations in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He has held different positions in North Asia over the past seven years. Before that he was responsible for the global ocean, air and VAS products, headquartered in Copenhagen.

Flemming will report to Damco CEO Rolf Habben-Jansen and work at Damco’s European regional head office in Rotterdam.
