RALEIGH, NC, June 23, 2010 — The Tompkins Supply Chain Consortium kicks off its annual Supply Chain Leadership Forum, the one supply chain event that has it all, on August 30 at the Omni Mandalay Hotel in Dallas, Texas.

“The forum is the single best venue for supply chain executives to compare notes, learn from each other, and get the latest information on benchmarking and best practices,” says Bruce Tompkins, Executive Director of the Consortium. “And we’re excited this year to be able to treat attendees to a special insider’s tour of the new Dallas Cowboys Football Stadium.”

Vice presidents, chief supply chain officers and other leaders of top retail, consumer products, manufacturing, distribution and service provider companies will join in this year’s event in order to drive their supply chains to new levels of performance.

Attendees will:
Participate in and get results from the live interactive benchmarking and best practices survey, built with questions contributed by attendees.
Learn about new practices and ideas in education sessions on sustainability, mergers & acquisitions, automation trends, international supply chain trade finance, and emergence of SaaS in supply chain information technology.
Gain insight into promoting profitable growth within their organizations.
Compare supply chain strategies and business practices to those of their peers.
