Top 25 Truckload Carriers

The 25 largest U.S. truckload carriers increased their combined revenue just 0.6 percent in 2013 to $25.6 billion, as rising operating costs, a slow-paced economy and difficulty finding and keeping drivers throttled back their long-term recovery. Acquisitions powered much of the growth, as truckload carriers built market share, expanded their service portfolios and gained capacity and drivers by buying up smaller competitors. The JOC and SJ Consulting Group annually rank the 25 largest truckload companies by revenue — which account for a small amount of total truckload revenue — and track their progress on this special topic page.
