Solis Partners, Leading East Coast Solar Integrator, Names Joe Joyce as Executive VP
SEA GIRT, N.J. (May 1, 2014) -- Solis Partners Inc., a leading commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) developer and integrator, today announced that Joe Joyce has joined the company as executive vice president and head of sales. In this position, Joyce will lead the business development strategy and sales team, with a focus on the expanding opportunities in the East Coast solar market.
New Jersey and its neighboring states represent one of the nation's strongest regional solar PV markets, thanks to progressive state incentives. New Jersey ranked fifth nationally in installed solar capacity installed in 2013. This ranking reflects the state's location at the heart of one of the world's largest consumer markets, which has resulted in a high concentration of flat-roofed warehouses and distribution centers that are ideal for the installation of rooftop solar.

Joyce brings more than a decade of solar sales experience to his new position, with a focus in the corporate and government sectors. Prior to joining Solis, he was senior vice president for sales and marketing at Ray Angelini Inc., one of the East Coast's largest commercial solar integrators, where he was instrumental in driving solar sales and project financing. Previously, he was the founder and president of Joyce Solar, a commercial solar financing and financial consulting company.

Before entering the solar industry, Joyce held a number of executive-level positions in information technology at Sysix, Satyam, Mid-Atlantic Research and Centron.
Joyce holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a specialty in marketing from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Farleigh Dickinson University. He resides in Morristown, N.J.
