Richard Larrabee Selected as 2010 Person of the Year by NY/NJ Forwarders & Brokers Association

NEW YORK, N.Y. (November 30, 2009) - The New York/New Jersey Foreign
Freight Forwarders and Brokers Association, Inc. selected Richard M.
Larrabee, Director of the Port Commerce Department of The Port Authority of
New York and New Jersey, to receive the 2010 Person of the Year Award. For
93 years, this award has recognized those who significantly impact the
region's global trade community.

The award will be presented during the annual dinner at the Marriott
Marquis Hotel in New York on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. The dinner is one
of the largest transportation industry events in the country, attracting
approximately 900 guests every year.

Mr. Larrabee is being honored for his leadership in the management and
operation of the major marine terminal facilities within the largest port on
the East Coast in North America-the Port of New York and New Jersey, said
Matthew Brauner, Association President.

Mr. Larrabee manages a multi-billion dollar port redevelopment program that
includes reinvestment in marine terminal facilities, deepening harbor
channels and berths, improving intermodal connections and protecting
sensitive marine environments. The redevelopment program is positioning the
Port of New York and New Jersey to accommodate future growth that is
projected to double over the next decade and could quadruple by 2040.

Prior to joining the Port Authority, Richard Larrabee held the rank of Rear
Admiral in the United States Coast Guard. He served as Commander First
Coast Guard District in Boston, MA, where he oversaw all Coast Guard
operations in the Northeast United States. Within his 32 year Coast Guard
career, Rear Admiral Larrabee held a variety of operational and staff
assignments, including command at sea and shore assignments. For his
service, he has received two Distinguished Service Medals and three Legion
Merit Awards.

Mr. Larrabee holds a Master of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from the
University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Science degree from the United
States Coast Guard Academy.
