FMCSA Appoints Tucker to CSA Subcommittee

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has appointed Jeffrey Tucker to its Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee’s CSA subcommittee.

Tucker, who was appointed by Anne Ferro, FMCSA’s administrator, is the CEO of Tucker Company Worldwide and CEO and co-founder of Qualifiedcarriers.com. He has chaired the TIA Carrier Selection Framework Committee since 2006 and has testified on CSA before Congress.

The CSA subcommittee advises FMCSA with regard to its “Compliance, Safety, Accountability” initiative to improve large truck and bus safety and reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities related to commercial motor vehicles. The subcommittee is a panel of 19 subject matter experts, including representatives of motor carriers, bus companies, safety advocate groups and trade associations.
