Robert J. Mulligan, U.S. Council for International Business's new senior vice presidient for policy and government affairs.The U.S. Council for International Business has named Robert J. Mulligan as senior vice president for policy and government affairs.
Previously the head of USCIB’s Washington, D.C., office, Mulligan succeeds Ronnie Goldberg, who is retiring after more than 20 years leading USCIB’s policy and program department. Goldberg will serve as senior counsel to USCIB, while she completes her current terms as a member of the International Labor Organization’s governing body and as chair of the employment committee at the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
In his new role, Mulligan will oversee USCIB’s activities on international trade, investment, economic and regulatory matters. He will also supervise USCIB’s team of policy professionals and will coordinate input to the three international business organizations of which USCIB serves as the American affiliate.
Mulligan came to USCIB from TechAmerica, a high-tech trade association, where he was senior vice president of international. He previously served as assistant vice president for international external affairs for The Chubb Corp. and as executive director of the Central Europe Institute.
