U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations, law enforcement agencies from five European countries, and the European Police Office seized 132 domain names today that they said were selling counterfeit merchandise online, as part of Project Cyber Monday 3 and Project Transatlantic.
The operation was coordinated by the ICE HSI-led National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center in Washington, D.C. It is the third year that the IPR Center has targeted websites selling counterfeit products in conjunction with Cyber Monday.
