Reefer Terminal Vado Ligure_Savona - 2 new Ship to Shore Gantry cranes
The Reefer Terminal, the container and reefer terminal based in Savona Vado Ligure, last 22nd March received 2 new ship to shore gantry cranes.
The arrival of new 2 cranes is part of the investments plan of Reefer Terminal/GF Group together the improving of the draft to 14,5 m. which allows to attract in Vado Ligure also the main ocean carrier services operating between Asia and Mediterranean/North Europe.
The largest callers at Vado Ligure today are the 4,200 teu ships employed in the Sirius joint service (Hamburg Sud, Libra, Cma CGM, Zim, Niver) operating between Mediterranean/ECSA

Furthermore the Reefer Terminal has a rail connection with 4 lanes between 460 m to 350 m to grant a competitive connectivity to the hinterland
