Florida East Coast Railway Hires Chinnici as Engineering, Purchasing SVP

Freight rail system Florida East Coast Railway today appointed Francis J. Chinnici as senior vice president of engineering and purchasing.

Chinnici succeeds Robert B. Stevens, vice president and chief engineering officer, who is retiring. Stevens worked for 38 years in the rail industry, with the last six years at FEC, according to Jim Hertwig, president and CEO.

Chinnici joins FEC following 29 years with CSX. He was most recently vice president of purchasing and materials there.
