The Greenbrier Companies has hired Adrian Downes as senior vice president and chief accounting officer.
Downes will be responsible for directing all of the Oregon-based railroad equipment manufacturer’s global corporate and operational accounting activities. He will oversee Greenbrier’s information technology and tax planning functions.
Downes has nearly 30 years of accounting and finance experience in a variety of industries, with both publicly and privately held companies. Most recently, he was executive vice president and CFO for Knowledge Universe.
