India’s Ministry of Railways has formulated its final draft policy on “Rail Terminals at Private Ports,” which is now open for suggestions and comments until Feb. 10.
The draft document is available on the Ministry of Railways Web site.
The objective of the policy, as mentioned in the draft document, is to provide a framework of guidelines for the development of rail terminals and associated logistics facilities for cargo handling and other services at privately developed ports.
