RailAmerica tapped GaryLewis, an industry veteran of more than 20 years, as chief commercial officer and senior vice president of the 44-railroad holding company.
Lewis, who previously served as vice president of industrial development, succeeds Charlie Patterson, who retired in December. Before joining RailAmerica in 2009, Lewis was director of sales and marketing at Kinder Morgan Terminals, holding various commercial leadership roles at CSX Transportation prior to that.
“Gary has done an amazing job creating a high-performance industrial-development group and is a demonstrated and creative leader in this highly critical area,” said John Giles, RailAmerica president and CEO.
