CN's Calgary Logistics Park.Class I railroad Canadian National Railway today launched operations at its new intermodal terminal at Calgary Logistics Parkin Conrich, Alberta.
The $200 million logistics park is located between the ports of Prince Rupert and Vancouver, said Jean-Jacques Ruest, CN’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer, in a written statement. It also has access to Stoney Trail, the Trans Canada Highway and other major roadways, and is situated 10 kilometers (about 6.2 miles) from Calgary International Airport.
The terminal was relocated from CN’s Sarcee Yard in southeast Calgary, and it now offers 30 percent more capacity than before, the company said.
