CEVA Logistics has started operations at its new logistics center in Singapore.
The center is housed in the 42,000 square meter, multi-user facility warehouse located at Tampines LogisPark, which is in the eastern part of the island and has access to expressways, major seaports and an airport. It will serve as third-party logistics provider’s signature facility in the Asia-Pacific region.
“Singapore is a strategic regional hub for CEVA due to the country’s excellent network and international connectivity,” said Loo Seng Tak, CEVA’s executive vice president for Southeast Asia, in a written statement. “This is a significant investment that strengthens our presence in this market and enables us to offer more innovative supply chain solutions to our customers.”
Liao Chung Lik, deputy group managing director of C&P Group, the developer of the new hub, added: “During the development phase, both companies worked closely to ensure that the new facility has the capability to encompass all required features to meet CEVA’s customer needs.” He noted that special attention was given to the specific requirements for aerospace engine logistics and energy efficiency.
Among confirmed customers for the site are companies such as Rolls-Royce; Pearson, a London-based education company; and Pigeon, a provider of baby and child care products.
