Transportation software firm Kewill has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Four Soft, a Hyderabad, India-based software company.
The acquisition is expected to close within 90 days. It will help Kewill expand in the supply chain execution software market, according to Kewill. Four Soft develops and markets a portfolio of logistics solutions for logistics service providers, retailers and manufacturers.
“The acquisition of Four Soft is part of our strategic plan to significantly grow the Kewill business over the next 5 years,” said Bob Farrell, CEO and president at Kewill, in a written statement. “At the completion of this acquisition, Kewill will have enhanced products, technology and domain skills, which will significantly improve our market leading position.”
Palem Srikanth Reddy, chairman and managing director of Four Soft, added: “The board of Four Soft believes that the offer from Kewill is good for both the employees and customers of Four Soft and that with this acquisition, Kewill will be able to better serve the customers of both companies and further fulfill the needs of the supply chain execution software market.”
