Chainalytics has acquired ROCE Partners, a European supply chain management company with offices in Helsinki, Milan and Stockholm.
With the addition of ROCE Partners, Chainalytics will expand its geographic coverage and deepen its capabilities in the areas of sales and operations planning and demand-supply planning, according to the logistics and transportation company. The combined company will focus in particular on the food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, consumer non-durables, high-tech, industrials, telecom and health care industries.
Janne Salmi, former chairman of the board at ROCE Partners, will serve as the managing director of Chainalytics Europe and lead the global sales and operations planning practice.
“With the addition of ROCE Partners, we now have a team that has worked with many of the leading supply chains across Europe, and is unmatched in the global marketplace in the areas of S&OP and demand-supply planning,” said Mike Kilgore, president and CEO of Chainalytics, in a written statement.
“We are excited to become part of Chainalytics as this will enable us to deliver new services to our clients and to accelerate the growth of our combined company,” Salmi added. “ROCE Partners’ relationship with Chainalytics began more than six years ago, and I am confident of the excellent fit between our competencies and cultures.”
