AIT Worldwide Logistics has established an office in Amsterdam as part of its global expansion strategy.
The new office is the 43rd AIT location and joins an existing roster of facilities in Asia and North America. It is headed by Ria de Bok, country manager of the Netherlands, who joined AIT with more than 20 years of customer service, operations and sales experience in the logistics industry.
“Our robust partner network and thriving global customer base made the opening of this European office a top priority for us,” said Vaughn Moore, president and CEO of AIT Worldwide Logistics, in a written statement. “Indeed, some of our organization’s strongest ties are with long-standing customers and partners located in the Netherlands.”
“Planting roots in Europe promotes greater fluidity in all manner of business activity by streamlining procedures, creating new efficiencies and enhancing professional relationships,” added Hessel Verhage, the company’s vice president of global development.
The transportation management provider also recently opened offices in Omaha, Houston and Toronto.
