Tulsa, OK, June 27, 2013 ─ On June 9, 2013, Conexus was recognized by the Transportation Marketing & Sales Association (TMSA) with a 2013 Compass Award of Merit in the category of Marketing and Sales Collateral. Conexus received the award in recognition for its 2012 renaming and rebranding of the company from Melton Logistics to Conexus.
A TMSA Compass Award is considered the “highest level of professional achievement and recognition in marketing, communications and sales in today’s transportation, logistics and passenger transit marketplace.” Conexus was chosen for recognition by a panel of industry expert judges and was honored at TMSA’s 61st Annual Compass awards Gala, held at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort in Ponte Vedra, Florida.
Accepting the award on behalf of Conexus was Aubrey Blankenship, Marketing Manager at Conexus who contributed substantially to the company’s rebranding efforts.
“Conexus has come a long way over the last 10 years,” said Blankenship. “We started as a small two person flatbed brokerage in 2003 and today we are a full-service, multi-modal 3PL with two offices and nearly 50 employees. Changing our name to Conexus was yet another milestone achievement for us and I cannot think of a better way to celebrate our 10 years of success this year than by being recognized by our peers with such a prestigious award.
