Roadrunner Transportation Systems’ outbound, less-than-truckload service center operations have commenced in Kansas City, Mo.
The expansion broadens the asset-light transportation and logistics service provider’s footprint to include Kansas, Nebraska and western Missouri.
Furthermore, beginning the week of June 17, Roadrunner, No. 22 on JOC’s 2012 list of the Top 50 Trucking Companies, will open a service center in Buffalo, N.Y. The opening will provide coverage to the greater Upstate New York region, including Albany, Rochester, Syracuse and Buffalo. Roadrunner is already servicing the New York metropolitan area.
“Roadrunner continues to add service centers to meet the needs of our growing customer base,” said Scott Dobak, president of Roadrunner’s less-than-truckload and transportation management solutions, in a written statement. “We are excited about the success other recently added facilities are having and are looking forward to similar success in the Kansas, Nebraska and Upstate New York markets.”
