D.J. Powers Co., a Savannah, Ga.-based logistics provider, has merged with Maritime International, a local logistics firm also based in Savannah.
With the addition of Maritime International and the recent opening of its Norfolk, Va., office, D.J. Powers has further established its footprint in the Southeast, with plans to continue expansion in the U.S. and overseas markets, the company said in a written statement.
“As part of D.J. Powers’ continuing strategic expansion, we are excited to welcome Maritime International into D.J. Powers Co.,” said Rhett Willis, CEO of D.J. Powers. “Their experience in international transportation solutions will be a valuable contribution to our expanding service offerings and will add to our level of expertise in global transportation.”
