In order to improve the connection between the Persian Gulf and India region and East Africa, Delmas will consolidate its Kenya Express and Tanzania Express into one service called the Swahili Express.
The combined service will provide weekly sailings on the following rotation: Jebel Ali and Khor Fakkan, United Arab Emirates; Mombasa, Kenya; Dar Es Salaam and Zanzibar, Tanzania; and back to Jebel Ali. The first sailing will be the ESL Dar Es Salaam, voyage 2S099S, calling at Jebel Ali on June 15, Mombasa on June 25, Dar Es Salaam on June 30 and Zanzibar on July 4.
India is covered by a weekly feeder connecting Nhava Sheva, India, to Khor Fakkan. Europe, east and west Mediterranean, the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf are connected to the Swahili Express via the Khor Fakkan hub too.
