Unisource Corporate, a holding enterprise that acquires third-party logistics service providers and logistics technology providers, has appointed Jordan Serlin as its new chairman and CEO.
Nicholas Ferber, the current CEO, will continue to serve on Unisource’s board of directors and will consult during the transition period. Serlin has been advising the company since December 2012.
Serlin’s previous roles include more than 17 years of public company experience, both in senior management and board of director positions. He has served as president for an American Stock Exchange listed company and chief marketing officer for a Europe-listed firm. Serlin has successfully built and sold private technology companies to General Electric and currently serves as an independent advisor to a number of private equity funds, Unisource said. He also serves as an advisory board member for Ignite Venture Partners in San Francisco, and is advisory board member for Brandon Hall Group. His background includes extensive experience in logistics management and logistics software development.
