Shreyas Shipping and Logistics announced plans to launch a coastal container service between West India and South India.
The service will cover the ports of Kandla, Mundra and Chennai. The first vessel call at Kandla is currently scheduled for May 16.
Mumbai-based Shreyas already operates a weekly coastal service linking the ports of Mundra, Kandla, Hazira, Cochin, Tuticorin and Mangalore.
The carrier, which recently started a fortnightly feeder service between India and Sri Lanka, has a fleet of eight vessels.
