Paul Fisher, president and CEO of CenterPoint Properties Trust, has announced his retirement from the Illinois-based industrial property and transportation infrastructure development company.
The company’s board of trustees has initiated a search for his successor. Fisher will remain as CEO until his replacement is named. Following his retirement, he will continue to serve on the company’s board as vice chairman.
Fisher was one of the founders of the company in 1993, serving as CFO prior to being named president in 2004. In 2006, CenterPoint, which was publicly listed at the time, was privatized, with Fisher continuing to serve as president until his appointment as CEO in 2011.
