Starting May 4, Cosco Container Lines, Evergreen Line, PIL and Wan Hai Line will launch a new weekly service linking Asia and the west coast of South America, called Asia-South America Service, WSA2.
The service will cover the following ports: Kaohsiung; Shekou; Hong Kong; Ningbo; Shanghai; Manzanillo; Lazaro Cardenas; Puerto Quetzal; Buenaventura; Callao; Guayaquil; and back to Kaohsiung. The round-trip time will be 63 days. The service will initially deploy nine Panamax vessels supplied by the four carriers.
