FedEx Trade Networks has expanded its presence and service capabilities in the Latin America region through a series of operational developments.
Over the last several months, the company has executed an expansion plan, including opening new offices, establishing alliances with regional service providers and launching new freight forwarding service options.
The freight forwarding company, a subsidiary of FedEx, opened new offices in Brazil and Mexico. The company has operated in both countries since 2009 and added new locations in Rio de Janeiro, as well as Guadalajara and Monterrey in Mexico.
FedEx Trade Networks also has a new alliance with Portlink Logística Multimodal, a freight forwarder in Brazil.
Additionally, the company now provides an air consolidation service between Mexico and Brazil, streamlining the supply chain between Benito Juárez International Airport in Mexico and São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport in Brazil.
