The Saint John Port Authority’s board of directors in New Brunswick has elected Peter Gaulton as chair and Phil Brewer as vice chair.
Gaulton will serve in the position for a two-year term. He has held the position of interim chair since November 2012 and is also the former vice chair of the seven-member board. He has been a member of the board since 2008 and has also served as chair of the audit committee for several years. Gaulton has been a Saint John-based chartered accountant for the past 34 years and has also owned his own firm for the past 23 years.
Brewer will also serve a two-year term in his new role. He has been the owner and president of Cox Electronics & Communications for more than 30 years and has experience in business leadership and financial management. Brewer has served on numerous corporate and community boards and has been a member of this board since 2011, serving as both committee chair for the human resources and audit committees during that period.
