Hapag-Lloyd is revising its South/West Africa Service’s port rotation to resume weekly calls to Cotonou, Benin, starting on westbound MED voyage 1302W, departing from Asia by March 9.
The port rotation will be as follows: Shanghai; Ningbo, China; Xiamen, China; Shekou, China; Singapore; Port Klang, Malaysia; Durban, South Africa; Lome, Togo; Tema, Ghana; Cotonou; Lagos, Nigeria; and again calling Durban, Port Kelang, Singapore and Shanghai.
WSX transit times have also been revised accordingly.
The German ocean carrier will also increase rates on its Northeast Asia to Australia trade, effective March 15.
The hike will be $300 per 20-foot-equivalent unit for all cargoes and container types.
