Air freight service provider Air Menzies International recently reorganized its U.K. cargo receiving and trucking operations to improve processing times for customers delivering to regional airports.
Cargo flights departing from London Heathrow will be trucked by nightly road feeders operated by air freight trucking specialist Ware Transport, which will offer later closeouts and earlier arrivals.
In Manchester, AMI has become self-handling and will move into a new 8,000-square-foot on-airport facility in mid-January.
At both Leeds Bradford Airport and East Midlands Airport, AMI is now using handler Worldwide Flight Services for receiving.
In Birmingham, AMI is also being handled by Ware Transport at its Gateway Estate receiving center.
