Clipper Projects, the Danish project cargo and heavy lift operator, has established a pool of multipurpose ships with Swiss and German ship owners and managers.
The new pool, including Zurich-based Enzian Ship Management and Germany’s Freese Shipping, will initially comprise fourteen multipurpose ships of 15,000 to 20,000 deadweight tons.
The pool will be managed by Clipper Projects and will be integrated into the Danish firm’s fleet, which currently numbers 45 vessels.
Copenhagen-based Clipper said the pool intends to attract new members and tonnage ranging from 10,000 dwt to 20,000 dwt.
“We firmly believe that the key to success is that we tailor-make our services to our customers’ requirements, instead of the other way around, and the flexibility we are able to offer with the larger fleet will be difficult to match,” said Kristian Morch, Partner and CEO of Clipper Projects.
