FedEx Express is adding a new flight linking Gdansk, Poland, with the company’s European hub in Paris, via Berlin.
An ATR42 aircraft will serve the route four times per week.
The Fedex Corp. subsidiary said that customers in northern Poland will benefit from later pick-up and earlier delivery times as well as next-business-day service to the U.S. East Coast from the Gdansk region. The company is also providing new service coverage in Slupsk, Koszalin and Elblag.
Earlier this year, FedEx Express acquired Polish courier service Opek Sp. z.o.o.
