Caravel Logistics has launched a feeder link between India and the Middle East.
From Port Pipavav on India’s west coast, the service feeds into global hub services available at Jebel Ali port in Dubai.
“We are expanding our business, and this new service from Port Pipavav helps us to introduce a new trade lane and reach out to a larger number of customers in Gujarat,” said Saju Chacko, managing director of Caravel Logistics.
C.K. Rajan, head of container business at APM Terminals-operated Port Pipavav, said the service would provide customers, especially those located in Gujarat, with a cost-effective option and complement the port’s “enhanced rail frequencies.”
