OOCL announced three changes in its management team on Thursday.
Michael Kwok is being promoted to chief operating officer, with responsibilities covering trades and corporate logistics functions.
Kwok, who has been the Hong Kong-based carrier’s director of trades since 2010, has served OOCL and its subsidiaries in various capacities for 33 years, including as director of intra-Asia trade and head of fleet management and corporate logistics.
Stephen Ng will succeed Kwok as director of trades, with responsibilities in the management of three major East-West trades, intra-Europe trade, and the Grand Alliance and G6 Alliance activities. Ng will continue to be the spokesman for OOCL.
Paul Devine, general manager of corporate logistics, will take on the additional responsibilities of overseeing the public relations and promotion and research department and the new markets department.
