Geodis Wilson has opened a new logistics center in Singapore’s Jurong harbor.
The 3PL said the 19,356-square-foot facility would be used to serve customers combining cargoes from elsewhere in the Asia-Pacific region or distributing goods throughout the region via cross-border trucking services.
The center is fitted with 18 loading bays, and Geodis is also offering customers a range of value-added services, including storage, labeling, pick and pack, and kitting. “These services reduce lead times and avoid delays in final delivery by allowing customers to have products customized for local markets before they are sent to their final destination,” the company said.
