French trucking, logistics and forwarding company Norbert Dentressangle reported higher profit and revenue for 2010 and said it expects its $310 million acquisition of UK road transporter and forwarder TDG to be completed by the end of March.
Dentressangle, which operates in 19 European countries and in Asia and North America, said its earnings before interest, taxes and amortization rose 32 percent to $146.4 million last year and was up 17 percent on a comparable basis excluding acquisitions.
During the year, the company acquired Schneider Logistics' forwarding business and agreed to acquire TDG.
Consolidated revenue rose 4.4 percent to $3.9 billion. Excluding the impact of currency valuations, revenue rose 3.4 percent.
The company said it reduced its net debt to $526 million, from $612 million at the end of 2009.
