SANTA FE SPRINGS, California ¬ Weber Distribution, a leading third party logistics and supply chain management provider for more than 85 years, announced today that it has hired Jeff Harding as business intelligence analyst and Matt McCool as supply chain solutions analyst to strengthen the delivery of analytics, reporting and solutions for its customers.
Harding joins Weber from Surrex Project Solutions where he designed business systems for various clients, including the Port of Long Beach Vessel Speed Governance Application, DIRECTV Direct Marketing System, Surrex Solutions Corporation Financial Operations Portal and Vita Healthcare Benefits Management System.
In the newly created role at Weber, Harding is responsible for developing and supporting the company’s reporting and data requirements, including customer metrics and analytics and support for business applications. He also worked for Toyota Financial Services as business systems analyst, Indymac Bank as business systems analyst and IntelliTrack, Inc., as software services engineer.
McCool comes to Weber from The Walt Disney Company and most recently General Electric, NBC Universal, Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
As a supply chain solutions analyst, he is focused on pricing, analytics and RFP management and assisting with the development of Weber’s strategic accounts initiative for 2010. He is also using his Lean Six Sigma training to improve internal processes and to drive innovation into performance improvement projects throughout the company.
At General Electric, NBC Universal, Universal Studios Home Entertainment, McCool worked as director/senior analyst, operations planning & inventory management where he led development of a new strategic operations planning team for manufacturing, supply chain operations and inventory management. He also completed a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt project to significantly reduce DVD inventory, created manufacturing forecast models for integration with SAP and developed a new inventory reporting systems.
His experience also includes senior analyst, sales planning for Buena Vista Home Entertainment and analyst for JAKKS Pacific and Universal Studios Group.
