BBC Chartering & Logistic on Sept. 3 named Per Petersen president of BBC Chartering USA.
Petersen has served in various positions during his nine years with BBC Chartering, most recently as the senior vice president. He has over 32 years of industry experience and is extremely well respected amongst his peers.
“Mr. Petersen will lead BBC Chartering USA as one of the premier companies in the breakbulk and heavy-lift sectors” said Svend Andersen, BBC Chartering’s CEO.
BBC Chartering & Logistic, headquartered in Leer, Germany, is one of the world’s largest breakbulk and project carriers providing service to the construction, mining and energy industries. BBC has a diverse fleet including more than 150 multi-purpose vessels with lifting capacities of up to 500 metric tons and soon increasing to 900 metric tons.
