Ports and waterways affected by Tropical Storm Edouard have re-opened to inbound and outbound traffic with some draft restrictions, the Coast Guard said.
Houston is open to ships with less than 38-foot drafts. Galveston and Texas City are open to ships with less than 35-foot drafts. The Sabine Pass Ship Channel and Lake Charles/Calcasieu Ship Channel are open to vessels with less than 30-foot drafts. Port Freeport is open to unrestricted ship movement and the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway is open to barge traffic.
The Army Corps of Engineers said it will continue to survey ship channels today.
