Dragonair appointed Gerard Ter Bruggen as regional manager for cargo - continental Europe, and Stuart Holland as country manager-cargo for the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The appointments, which take effect Aug. 1, are part of a restructuring following the retirement of Bob Wetherill as regional manager, cargo, for Europe and the U.K.
Ter Bruggen, who will be based in Amsterdam, and Holland, based in Manchester, will be responsible for developing the Hong Kong-based carrier's cargo sales and services in their respective markets.
Ter Bruggen joined Dragonair in February 2001 as manager, cargo sales and services, Europe, from Danzas AEI. He has worked in the cargo field for 25 years.. Holland joined Dragonair in December 2001 as sales manager, U.K. and Ireland. He previously worked for Lufthansa Cargo and has 16 years' experience in the freight industry.
