The lasting image of the April 3 tornadoes in Dallas will be rows of trailers being demolished and tossed into the air at or near a Schneider National terminal.
Fortunately, no Schneider employees were injured by the tornado. About 100 pieces of equipment were damaged by the storm, the company said Wednesday.
Videos reportedly shot by mechanics from a nearby garage are a terrifying testament to the tornado’s raw destructive power. In the video below, local news reporter Jason Whitely visits the scene where at least 50 trailers were “shredded.”

“It’s throwing lots of 18-wheelers. This is something I have never seen before,” said the person shooting the video below. The video shows tractor-trailers rolling not far from the tornado on I-20 after it strikes the terminal.
The Dallas Observer dubbed the tornado strike “the Dance of the Trailers.”
