December domestic intermodal container traffic was off 6.4 percent sequentially; international traffic dipped 0.3 percent. Year-over-year growth decelerated in December as domestic traffic growth slowed to 10.5 percent and international traffic slowed to 15 percent.
Calendar 2010 domestic container traffic was up 16.5 percent year-over-year and 19.9 percent above 2008 results. Calendar 2010 international traffic was 18.6 percent above 2009 results, but down 6.6 percent from 2008.
