U.S. Trade with Germany
In 2009, the U.S. foreign goods trade with Germany totaled $114.6 billion with a year-over-year shortfall of nearly $37.5 billion, or 24.6 percent. The U.S. trade deficit with Germany shrank $15 billion to nearly $28 billion. U.S. exports to Germany totaled $43.3 billion and made up 37.8 percent of the total 2009 goods trade.
