U.S. Trade with Australia
U.S. goods trade with Australia in 2009 totaled $27.6 billion, off $5.2 billion or 15.8 percent from 2008, while its annual U.S. trade surplus essentially remained stable. U.S. imports from Australia fell 24.3 percent year-over-year, more than double the decline in U.S. exports to Australia, which comprised 71 percent of the total trade last year.
