Longistics Vice Chairman Pat Long Named a Finalist for Two Stevie Awards

The Stevie Awards honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide. Its awards for Women in Business are governed by a Board of Distinguished Judges and Advisors that features many leading figures in business.

Long was among four international finalists for Best Entrepreneur in her category and six finalists for Best Overall Company. Along with her husband, Duane Long, she established Longistics in 1984, which has become one of the world’s leading companies in providing transportation, warehousing and Foreign Trade Zone management operations for businesses. Long became the founder and CEO of Rare Bird Trading Company in 2011, and in October celebrated the opening of the Suzhou Industrial Park International Commodities Exhibition Center in China, where North Carolina and U.S.-based companies will exhibit their products through support offered by Longistics and Rare Bird Trading Company.
