TTI Lease Extended at Port of Seattle

The Port of Seattle approved a 10-year lease extension with Total Terminals International that will keep Hanjin Shipping Co. calling at Terminal 46 through 2025.

Terminal 46 handles about 20 percent of Seattle’s total container volume of more than 2 million 20-foot container units a year. Under the port’s Century Agenda, total container volume is projected to increase to 3.5 million TEUs by 2025.

TTI is a joint venture subsidiary of Hanjin and Terminal Investment Ltd. Hanjin is the largest container line in South Korea and the eighth-largest in the world.
