Holland to Leave Seattle Port Commission

The Port of Seattle Commission now has two spots to fill.

Port Commissioner Rob Holland today submitted a letter of resignation to King County Council Chair Larry Gossett. Holland, who joined the commission in 2010 and has been an advocate for seaport competitiveness, will step down effective March 15.

The port commission was already preparing to fill a vacancy resulting from Gael Tarleton’s resignation to serve in the Washington State House of Representatives. The commission now anticipates appointing two commissioners in early March to serve until November.
