The Port of Los Angeles has released a draft port master plan for public review and input through April 8.
The port master plan serves as a long-term strategy to establish policies and guidelines for future development within the coastal zone boundary of the Port of Los Angeles. The draft version combines the original 1980 plan and its subsequent amendments into an updated document.
After the public comment period, a final version of the port master plan will be considered for approval by the Harbor Commission and California Coastal Commission later this year.
A copy of the document is available for public review online or on location. The port will also hold a public hearing on the draft port master plan before the Harbor Commission on April 4.
