Port Corpus Christi in Texas has promoted Ruben C. Medina to director of business development, under the supervision of the deputy port director of operations and business development.
Medina joined the port as deputy director for business development in 2009. Before that, he worked as a logistics-entrepreneur consultant for Marine Terminals in Oakland, Calif., developing business opportunities in Latin America. Prior to that, Medina worked for Transportacion Maritima Mexicana for 27 years.
